cant improve her as she is a very pretty girl. But I would remove the the signs in the background and what ever stone thing that is behind her.And maybe crop her reflection outof the car windshield.I am an amateur and just getting started so I maybe wrong.
1 question though where do you get sure pretty models to pose for you.LOL ![]() Charlie |

I'm guessing you're using a P&S digital camera to take these. Using a much shallower depth of field would greatly improve the shots.

I'm commenting on the first image only.
When the subject is centered in the frame, I prefer there be a very good reason for it. Here I cannot find a good reason for a centered image. Overall, it looks static and uninteresting though the girl is beautiful. I think A more uncentered composition will give this one more impact. For me, the girl's reflection is a nice little extra, but because the glass is dark, it becomes a stronger distracting element. Brightnening up the glas a tad will make it less distracting. You seem to understand exposure and the mechanics of your camera so composition is what lacks most in these images. Working with dark and bright background elements can often be a challenge. The dark elements with the bright sky behind become attention getters. Here is a quick crude edit for demonstration. Rodney |

Hey, thanks, Rodney. The shot is a bit too busy. I'll take your advice for next time I go for a shoot.

Mockingbird:
Thanks for posting your images. I would like to point out one thing for future reference. If you refer to the Guidelines posted at the top of the threads list here, you'll see that we prefer only one image per thread: Quote:
Now, we don't have a problem with more than one version of the same image in response to critique (here it is cropped differently, etc.). But, keeping just one image the topic of discussion within a thread keeps responses more focused. So, for future posts in this forum, please keep this in mind. Thanks for understanding, and it's good to see you posting in this forum! Jim C. |
