Took this around 12:30pm in my front yard with my 20d and Sigma 70-300 F4-5.6 APO Macro Super II.INFO F8 1/500 ISO 200.LMK what you think.

Here are a few things that jump out at me.
1. Over exposed. 2. Red channel clipped. 3. Uninteresting composition. 4. Blown Highlights. 5. Lacks depth...Almost looks pasted on the background. Mid day is not the ideal time for flora shooting. Early in the morning or at sunset are the best times. An overcast day or shooting in complete shade will work well also. Try again and good luck. Rodney |

hope the color is better in this 1.Still working on DOF.And as for composition I have several different poses of this flower that I hope are more interesting.
