I like the first one... but it seems like that white part on the right might be overexposed, but I love the colours of the first one.
style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"I find the second picture lacks some punch... style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"Did you photoshop them?? |

the 1st one is a pleasing shot. the composition in general works and the color and contrast are nice. the overexposed area isn't too bad, its rather large area, but i think it does not ruin the shot here.
the second one just lacks punch and contrast. |

i like the color and contrast in the first one, but it looks a bit overprocessed somehow. i do like the clouds,though... the wispy, streaked effect is wonderful! the second shot isn't so overprocessed, but it does seem to be a little less striking, not as bright and eye-catching.

In full agreement with all the comments here. As has already been said, no. 2 is a bit muted but I really like the punch of the first one, and the angle of the clouds add a touch of drama, leading the eye to the bright area on the right. Nice compostion.
