for some reason, i like this shot.

i wish the dof carried to the bit of seaweed, but, for some reason, it didn't.

oh well. i like it

the backlighting really makes the shells glow here which is a really neat effect.. and you get some nice texture from the rocks.. i actually kind of wish it didnt have the seaweed in it.. but hey, you like it!

the reason your dof didnt carry to the seaweed is that when you focus on an object 1/3 of the dof is in front of the focus and 2/3 of the dof is behind it.. so if you want more fore-elements in focus you have to front-focus it a bit..unless you are at higher magnification macro images where the dof is 50/50..
