I pulled to the side of the road this morning after dropping my daughter off at school. We had fairly drastic temp drop last night and the cloud cover looked like this no matter where you looked.

how about this one... conversion-independent adjustment to sky and land-dodged canon and burnt surrounding to make standout-other various adjustments i cant remember now..
a little more time spent on the intersection between sky and horizon would have helped, but you get theidea.. |

The original photo is pretty good. The sky was outstanding - definitely worth shooting. The conversion is also really nice. The cannon stands out nicely and the sky looks fabulous. Good work by both of you.
