Yes, we missed you and welcome Dustin. I have looked at your flicker account. Impressive shots you took during you visit to Diego. Will spend more time later. Regards. Jaki.

Some nice shots there Dustin, it just goes to show that you don't need a DSLR to take great photos. I really like the panos.

thanks for taking a look jaki and frenchy!
for these types of images, not having a dslr was not a hindrence really, there was plenty of light and the wide format of the lx1 came in really handy. i think its a fine little digicam, plenty of control, RAW, image stability, plenty of resolution and its very classy with a nice metal construction and nice fit and finish. thats not to say its replacing the 20d, far from it:-) |

Nice shots, very good exposure, captures the light brightness of the area.

Thanks Dustin i really enjopyed looking through those, especially as I am going over to san diego for my honeymoon in september.
The shots on there really impress me as its obvious the thought that has gone into framing the shots. oh and like the look of the 'flicr' might give that a go myself. |

We had a wonderful week. Glad you did too. Nice to see this collection of pics. Long time since I was there, and loved seeing it again. I'll take my time and go thru them again, and comment more in depth. Best regards,
