how about this one??? hope you like it.

i really like shot 2. i think in this case a greater dof would have added more impact to this shot.

great lines leading into the horizon btw.also nice level of detail in the sand.

i also like both shots:|, especially number 2.:cool:

what camera/lens did you use?

Looking at the Exif

Model = C5050Z
Orientation = top/left
Software = Adobe Photoshop CS2 Windows
Date Time = 2006-03-25 03:19:24

Exposure Time = 1/800"
F Number = F5.6

I use Opanda iExif which is great and there is a free download version. All you do is right click on any pic and if the Exif is there you will be able to see it.

BTW I like the second one as well, but would have been stronger with a greater DOF.

Also like no2 in terms of composition

oBSidian Mar 28, 2006 1:05 PM

The second is very nice compositionally. Would prefer to see a greater DOF as others have mentioned. I'd also like to see a slightly less tight crop. I'm a stickler for the rule of thirds in most cases, and would love to see the leading line starting on the right-hand third, and ending on the left hand one.

Still, a nice capture.

I love the strong lines in both. The composition of #2 is better; in #1 the peak of the dune is uncomfortably close to the top edge.
