Default School play

I took this photo with my d90 - 1/50, f/11 shutter priority ISO 1250 with sb600 - any comments or suggestions on how to take better photos of stage presentations?

thanks in advance!

This is a fine shot. A suggestion would be to use a larger aperture to isolate the subject from the background. Maybe f/4 or f/2.8.

I say it is a bit too blurry for pro standards. it is a nice pose however. crank up that aperture when you zoom in to get sharper shots. Also since we don't see her feet I think you could crop up high enough to get rid of the black area in the background.
