Each of those pictures is very good in its own right. The clarity, the sharpeness, the contrast, the composition just the way it supposed to be? The coloured one is as natural as it can be. :cool: . I have made two minor changes if you don't mind.

Thanks Aumma, yours looks much better - what did you do? Think I might be in under-compensation mode because of this monitor ie being now too light on the sharpening.

Did very slight level, cloned out that hole and rust on the leaf on the right and slightly sharpened.

i like the way the sepia emphasises the form and texture.. but i think conventional black and white may have done this a little better?

Thanks Dustin - I tried B&W originally but it wasn't very kind on the shadow areas. Found the sepia wasmore forgiving.
