Focus on the first one looks soft. Looks a bit close as it shows the DOF to be a bit shallow.
Crop the top of that picture as well as the blue sky does not add to the flower that you are trying to display. The second one looks to need a bit of a crop from the bottom, but it is sharper in focus. Try shooting a single flower as the group makes it a bit distracting as to what is the main focus or center of interest in the capture. The choice of flowers here are very nice and quite colorful. |

i too would love to see one of the flowers from shot #2 singled out against a nice simple background.. those are beautiful flowers and i can just imagine they would be even more so if singled out without any distractions..
