I took this yesterday. Handheld with the 70-200f/2.8L IS. A fair bit of PP in PS but nothing too dramatic. I love stained glass windows in churches, but I never get pictures that really capture their beauty. I quite like this one though.

The second image is a 100% crop if the face.

A very powerful shot. Unfortunately the lighting seems to be rather inconsistent behind the windows. Particularly the top right and the very bottom. This might be able to be toned up in pp.

Very well done. I like the effect. The only thing that I would change is the centring. There seems to be slightly more wall on one side, than the other, but its not hugely noticeable. The colours are fantastic, it has a real old feeling to it. I'd be careful with PP though. Stained glass windows are naturally dramatic, they are designed to hit you in different ways depending on where you stand. Depending on the viewers standpoint different aspects become more apparent, this effect is hard to emulate. Some of the best representations that I have seen have included the shadows, the light differences, the cracks, every little imperfection.
