This is from last week when the snow stuck to everything it landed on. It was so lovely all around my property with the snow and the new moon. Here's a shot looking out at the road. Shot at f/2.8 for2 sec. ISO 400 at around 9:00pm. Just want to know what you guys (people) think.

why did you use such an open aperture for a landscape shot? you were already using a tripod, so why not stop down to f11 or so and use a longer exposure?
its a lovely scene, just would have been more lovely with more dof.. dustin |

Hi,
Aside from the comments from our resident professional (Dustin) you are a little wonky - it just needs a degree to the left...? However like the composition and the colour is very nice! Dom |

the light balance it's bad. try some levels to brighten the snow or when you're shooting snow overexpoze a stop

Yah, I was wondering why the snow is grey, isn't it supposed to be white?

Not much to add. Straighten and more DOF. The white balance does not bother me. Maybe this is the way it appeared to you due to the moon, clouds (color cast). Forcing white is not always the best choice. I think the color looks very subtle and natural.

I agree with Widow - nothing wrong with the colour it's appropriate for the prevailing conditions

One thing i like about snow photographs is that it often looks like a B&W photographs. I think it would look cool in true B&W
