very interesting juxtaposition of the metal train tressel against the soft colors of the autumn leaves, nice.

Funny thing you should ask, I did have a polarizer on (Hoya) and I am starting to wonder if there is a big difference between one that cost $20 something or one they say is made for Digital for like $60 something.

try the chanell mixer...with those clouds and the simple colors of the trees you could make a winner...l

HI Mad, thanx for the tip. I am not that great with PS yet there is so much to learn on that, but I did open it up and tried fooling around with the Chanel mixer and I just can't seem to get it right, very confusing.

i like the train tressel and how its coming out of the top right corner, which is good placement.. the problem is that with the portrait orientation you have a lot of dead space, in the form of grass in the foreground, leaving it a bit bare.. maybe shoot horizontal more at the tressel, and still get the trees in if you have a wide enough lens.. and you need some saturation boost here, everythings a bit flat..

Hey Dustin,
Would like to see what you come up with for the saturation, I do think it's kinda dull also, I tried fooling around in PS but I can't make up my mind what I like or not and I am no pro at PS still trying to learn it. If you want feel free to fool around and repost so I can see it. |
