bit too much contrast in this scene.. the reflections are a bit harsh on the eyes and because of this lighting difference the rest of the scene is a bit dark and undersaturated..

Hey Syd,

Those colors are wacky. Did you do something in Photoshop to make it look like that?

I played with it a little bit. I think it would take a lot of work to make the colors look natural, but here it is with one, somewhat complexe curves adjustment and a bit of noise reduction.

Looks like a really nice place to ponder about life. I'm finding my eyes run right out of this image....the first thing I see is the line of highlights on the water which brings me to the linethat makes upthe edge of the pond....then off the image my eyes go. We must be careful as to how we use lines in an image as we want viewers to keep their eyes ON the image. Clear as mud, eh?
