Hi Dustin,
Like the pic.. just one question (not a criticism but it may start something...) was the leaf placed there or did it fall? Just curious if it was a set-up shot why you didn't cover up the nail in the floorboards? Looking forward to your 'yearbook'...! Dom |
the leaf was there, i justrotated it so the point fell at a diagonal to the plane of the planks of my deck.. i guess i could have covered up the nail, but it really didn't bother me that much.. a quick clone could take care of it if you all think it would help..
|
Dustin, you piss me off. I could have gotten in the same spot and took the same shot, yet mine wouldn't have looked this good! You've got an eye man!
Congrats on the new site. |
thanks for the comments TD and David!!
TD- there is indeed moss on the planks.. and you are right, its too summery for it have fallen on its own.. actually i shot this an hour or so after the lanscaping guys did some hedge/tree trimming work... so mother nature was helped out just a little bit.. ;) |
Nice! Are you going to leave EXIF data at all? I mean on your site.
|
That's an absolutely beautiful picture Hards. In fact, I'd go so far as saying that it's one of the best I can remember seeing from you. I hope your year keeps up to this standard.

Awesome Shot, I Actually like it with the nail there.

First, the photo is something special, I like it very much and is good for the first entry of your future 365 photos.
second, what kind of digicam is this s50..... is it point'n'shoot third, looking forward to see your work on your project. Every day new photo from an expert like you is something not to miss Regards Zak |
first off, thank you to all that have commented.. much appreciated..
secondyly.. i think i have set too high of standard for my year in photos... you guys n gals have to cut me some slack on some days, after all getting a "special" photo every day is hard work!! but hopefully i will get a few "gems" in there.. :) hehe.. btw Zak- yes the S50 is a point-n-shoot.. i bought it because i simply cannot keep my 20d with me everyday.. so i have the little s50 to throw in my bag or my jacket pocket.. |
