Well, i went out to shoot yesterday an hour west of town.. now our colors here in the city are still pretty vibrant.. out there, nothing, nearly everything was dead.. what a disappointment.. and the lighting was HARSH... needless to say i was disappointed in photographic opportunities.. but at least i got a nice hike in!
here is one of the better ones.. and i am not totally happy with it.. the perspecitive works, but i feel the trees are boring.. maybe you all will agree or disagree with me.. |

Looks good. Makes me feel like Im on the gound looking up, which is what it should do. Here are two edits with motion that I'm guessing Scot was talking about. May be a bit overboard. Both are gradient blurs. First is zoom and second is radial. Not sure if either one adds to the photo. I think maybe the natural effect of looking up may be enough.

E.S. - thanks for the comments!!
Widow- thanks for the comments and edits.. i was actually just about to try that for E.S. the first one looks pretty good, the second one is way over the top though.. i think i still prefer the unedited though.. though i am guessing E.S. is going to like one of these!! -------- dustin www.hardwickphotos.com |
