i like the burst of color coming out of the dying grass. i think a little tighter crop might be beneficial to this. looks good though.

Thanx Julies, Actually took this last year over near Storm King Mountain with a Canon Powershot. I have finally got my Canon 20D and here I am sitting inside watching this Rain just come down, I haven't got to use it yet

if you are going to leave so much foreground, a little interest would be nice.. i am not sure what, like an interesting flower bunch, or anything, just something to break up the monotony of the grass and hopefully situated as to lead the viewer to the tree..
