Great shot...the lone person walking conveys a lot. The only thing I would suggest is to crop it in order to eliminate the cars in the top of the frame.

Its a good idea but there are a few things bringing this image down, at least to my eye.

1. the man is too small in the image. he needs to be bigger, with less prehiperal surroundings.

2. The lighting is flat. it looks like it was taken during the day with sun high in the sky. It gives the light a flat look, and gives sharp shadows that add un-necessary detail to the image.

3.the powerlines and cars detract from the image, adding uncecessary detail again. crop out the cars and buildings, and clone out the power lines.

Cropping, cloning and playing with the exposure settings could do a lot for this image IMO.

yes crop it to make the compensation more professional.
thank you

Think this would work better as a vertical, cropping out the empty space to the right, the buildings and such at the top, and going back a few moment to catch the walker earlier in the path. Took the liberty of photoshopping the image

Lighting is one of those things that sometimes we cannot control, we can't always avoid shooting during the "Mad Dogs and Englishmen" time of day.

Yes quite agree with you Kulacube, that's much better.
