I like it a lot, and I think in landscape orientation it would make an excellent desktop wallpaper. One question, though: What is it!?!? If I had some idea of what it was, then I might be able to give more constructive criticism, but as it is, suffice to say I think it's really neat!
Best, -Ben |

Hi Ben,
these are ice patterns, a macro with more than +10 diopter lens. There is a blue sky in the background. The sun is just rising, touching the structures from the side. These gems will be melted in ten minutes - that's all. It is natures unusual variation of this theme: ![]() I liked the orientation, it reminds me to church windows - decorated by artists. Cheers Sven |

Incidently Sven, Have you seen the work of Masaru Emoto? Most amazing! You two should get together. Wish I had the hardware to experiment like this.

Thanks for the links, it needs some to time to read it.
Actually I was working on ice crystals, training my skills to shoot some snowflakes lateron: ![]() ![]() Hardware??? This was done with an enlarging lens (componon 60mm ebay 10€). I needed a super zoom 12x, but the dSLRs can do better and easier. If I could sell some shots, there would be a dSLR soon. cheers Sven http://sgsg.zoto.com/galleries/gice |
