Default What's the story here?

This is one the most interesting photographs I've taken recently. To me, it begs the viewer to interpret what's going on. I'd like to hear what you "see" in this shot.

The military vehicle clearly is parked. A guess is that the man in the wheel chair is a veteran and is giving acknowledgement to the active uniformed military vehicle driver who waves back. (The vehicle driver could/might even be his son.)

G'day Walter

Yes matey - a very poignant image showing 1001 various things, memories and emotions

Was the old bloke a vet revisiting an old friend - the truck?
Was the old bloke waving to the driver, maybe his son or daughter?
Is the woman a vet as well as being his spouse and obviously his carer as well
Yes Walter - there's 1001 things here to ponder

Hope this answers some of your ponderings
Phil

First thing I see is an old lady pushing an old man in a wheelchair across the path of a very well kept large military or ex-military vehicle. Possibly her husband? He's waving at the driver who is waving back. It appears the driver may be wearing army fatigues. Maybe thier both ex-military?
It looks like she's got an old camera strapped around her wrist and is aware of you photographing them. She's even giving you a half smile.
