This one looks a little fake for my taste. The foreground looks overprocessed while the background looks natural. I would either process the whole thing to look a little fake or keep it all natural looking. I also think it could have been benefited from the rule of thirds.

I agree. You don't need to be a specialist to see all the has been pointed out especially emphatically the fakeness of it. Sorry buddy. But the theme is excellent.

here is what i did
-cropped to make use of lead-in lines from fence and tractore trail -levels edit to take out haze look -boost in saturation and contrast -very mild sharpening |

This last one is very good. If you look at it carefully the rule of the third is followed. There is a sense of proportionality balance in colour and generally pleasing to look at. B
