Very unique!
Although the flower itself doesn't seem that appealing on its own, I find the combination of colors, background, lighting, and composition to be very visually affective. I like the frame too! Thomas. |

I also like this. I am wondering if it would look better if the entire flower was in focus, stem and all, but also keeping the blurred background.

I think the problem with this one is the flower does not have much detail from this angle and the calyx is not in focus.
