These photos were taken at the above locations. I think the black and white filter adds to the atmosphere of the snowy landscape. Would like to hear what you guy's think.

I like them. I think the black and white treatment makes them more stark and gives them a cold feeling. Just looks so damn cold and desolate.

I like #2, the old house with the tree give interest to the landscape.

I like the 3rd photo a lot.

I'm not fond of the first one, it seems to dark, I think that black hill on the left is just too black. I much prefer the third photo, moving that tree on the right more towards the center and then all those fence lines breaking up the snow, makes it look cold and lonely. I also like how those tufts of grass in the foreground follow the shape of the hill the tree is on.

I think the 2nd photo would look better cropping out more of the whiteness to the left of the house, taking the house almost to the edge.

I do like B&W photos. I ought to try it more myself. Yours do create lots of cold atmosphere.
