Hi,

I'm not so sure about this. I starting playing a bit with an image of mine and just kept going. I would like to know if it is pleasing or not. Please tell my what your initial impression is.

Thanks.

That thing in the left-hand side (treefort?) is distracting. Maybe crop it just short of that, it won't have the same long effect, but it'll still look nice. I especially like the man walking, it's a wonderful touch.

I like it, to me it looks like maybe a hunter walking away from his tree stand empty handed towards the end of the day never knowing that just after he left a deer was standing right beside it. What looks odd to me is the guy looks a little pasted in, maybe too bright or too something. I can't put my finger on it, but it seems odd. I would have also liked the deer to stand out just a hair more. I like that you don't see it right away, but some might not see it at all. Great shot!

my first impressions were that it was a little too stretched out.. the road feels out of balance.. i don't think you need as much room on the left or something... and the guy feels pasted in, like ya just took a guy off the street and slapped him into the forest?

I think this is a great shot.

Funny.

The deer is pasted in but the man is not. I think its because he is in silhouette that you might get this feel.

Its not meant to be photo real anyway. Was just playing around.

How about this border, better or not ? A bit distracting right.

i think i like the original better than the one with the border. cool edit you've got here Lboy. very sort of strange haunting scene.

Thanks. Well I ramped it up a bit for a laff (good fun to play around in PS). Easy enough, just layer in a blurred mask on overlay once or even twice. Then rub out areas that have too much contrast.
