Hey guys, I decided not to go the the park on saturday that my recent photos were from because since it hasn't rained recently the waterfalls wouldn't be that good. So I went to a different park. Here is one of the 10 shots I took (I didn't have time to take more as I was using a tripod and mirror lockup and was hiking several miles with only 2 hours of daylight to do the trip).

2 days and no responses? Hmm.... It either was overlooked or is just a mediocre shot.

i lke the composition in this shot

i think a real long shutter speed would have given the water a great silk effect here.

There seems to be bits of detail and depth lost in amongst the greens

I have always found greens difficult to get spot on.

I tried warming the green tones in this shot slightly to try to give it a more natural look. hope you dont mind. If anyone else has any other techniques on altering green tones i would be interested.

ken

Ken, the greens have been the hardest for me to get right. I'll attach the pre-saturated image for anyone who wants a go at it:

Okay guys here is my latest rendition. I have this one a little bigger so that detail can better be seen. What do you think. In the other images I was playing with hue. This was not a good choice so I went back to the original and didsome local contrast adjustments and saturation as well. However for saturation i used a adjustment layer and then blended with the saturation mode (this seemed to prevent blooming quite a bit). I also darkened the green and yellow a bit to maintain contrast once saturation was applied. I ended up with this:
