The first one is much better as it has a much less distracting background. You could crop some of the people out of the backgound in the first one to make it even better.

I like the first one Geoff, but it does seem to be a little bit out of focus. For shots like these you need to be using a faster shutter speed. To keep the subjects in focus.

Nice try though Geoff.

cheers rock it does look alot better cropped i will try and clone out the people out from the back ground aswell

yes as mentioned by others, nicer crops and comps. However i do find theshots over exposed by a bit.
