I just received my new Canon S3 IS this afternoon. I am a complete and utter novice at photography and decided to purchase one of these cameras as I am a graphic designer/web developer and I need the ability to take my own top quality photo's for clients and any work I may do.

Anyway click herefor some of the best shots after spending an hour or two getting to know my new camera.

I think it is the best money I ever spent in a long time and cant wait until I have mastered it.

Any comments welcome.

i think you have a good range of shots

its hard to critique so many

in general i think some of the bird shots look a little sorft, and blurry. I think maybe try inceasing the iso level to boost your shutter speed so you can sharpen em up.

The macro shots come up nice.

if you post one shots i thnk you will get beter feedback
