Hi everyone, I'm new here and would like you guys/gals to help me a little or a lot with my photography. All comments and suggestions welcome. This shot has only been resized. Thanks in advance.

great shot to start off

very nice vibrant colours, great capture nad very sharp.

i really lie the composition of this shot also.

only suggestion would be unsharp masking this shot. I think this will be the icing on this great shot

i agree with all of what Ken said, nut I would also suggest a little tighter crop, just to lose some of the black space in the background

Thanks Ken and Longside, I dont have any software or a camera of my own for that matterandI had to google "unsharp masking", which actually sharpens an image despite the name (would you use that tool on most shots)? It would be cool if one of you guys did it and posted the shot again so I could see it, if you got a minute...maybe you Ken seeing as we're neighbours...I'm an Aussie living in Canada. I really need a camera this place is beautiful.

Nice work Alex, especially if you don't have your own camera!!

Here is a cropped and sharpened version of your original. I'm still not 100% sure about the crop but it will give you something to go on. I have not applied a lot of USM as it was too over powering but hope you can see the difference (it is slight but noticeable).

edit is very nice

much more punch, crop is great and the good old sharpening.
