ken you asked me "which lost details re you refering to?"

When using the curves tool to get remove the colorcast it kind of automaticaly changes the levels, they are truncated in the white region.

Through that the hairs lose part of their detail. You can add that detail easy enough by placing a layer above what is desaturated and overlay mode set to luminosity.

In the image below the left side is the image with only the curves action done, while the right side shows the image with the desaturated overlay.

Hey Ria,

I thought this li'l guy would look really cute in sepia with some added contrast. I hope it looks ok as I worked on it on my laptop and the color may have slipped some since I last color calibrated...

Also added some grain.
