The attached photos were taken in a continuous burst...focus is poor in the first and better in the second and third. I was shooting manual shutter speed (400th) and aperture (2.8) to help speed up focus at ISO 3200 with AI Servo focus using a Canon 550 flash set for high speed sync with a canon 75-200mm 2.8 lens.

I see this frequently where a single shot or the first photo in a burst is out of focus even with the single center docus point on the subject of interest. Any ideas on what might be the problem and how I can get better yield. By the way I use a monopod

Apparently I do not understand how to post the photos since they did not appear with my post...Can anyone explain how to post photos along with my message?
