Took this after putting my lights up today. Not sure why I like this view, but I do. Wondering if it does anything for the rest of you.

hello jim the exposure is quite good, the photo could have been taken at a different angle perhaps,

Thanks for the input, so you would prefer a shot like this one? There was something about the roof lines I liked on the first, but guess it was just a personal feeling.

Jim1957,

That's not a house.....anything that big is callada Castle!! What a Beautiful home. Maybe you could host the Christmas Party for the Dallas Cowboys this year....just teasin'./ ha/ha

Both photos weregood. The lights on the roofline in the 1st photo really showed off your handiwork. Great job.

I'm like you kind of like the prospective of the roof on the first one but the second is much more of the normal shot.

Oh not at all, it was a flattering comment. I'm happy to hear you also liked the first shot. I was looking for something different than a frontal view of my lights. If nobody else liked it though, it would cause me to question my taste.
