Hi all,

This is the first time for me posting pictures. I could not figure out how to downsize my images so I will try a link. I would love any feedback on these pictures. I just bought a Nikon D50 and I love it.

It's fun looking at everyone elses pictures and learning from the comments.

Thanks!

Nice set of photos. A little bit of everything!

The only critique I could think of is on the photo of the silo and trees. A bit more of the foreground and grass would balance that photo perfectly; it seemed as though it was cut off and I wanted to see what was missing.

I love the photo of the dog (and I'm not a dog fan); the portraits and lilypads are nice too.

I need to get a D-50!

Some nice photos in your flickr account. I also have a D50 and use flickr...great combo! The easiest way to share pictures on here from flickr is to open your picture in flickr, go to "all sizes," click medium, scroll down and copy the url and paste it here (you have to be logged into your flickr acct). Use the button above the text entrybox that is three buttons left of the spell check. Hope that's clear!

Here is a link with very clear info on the two ways to post photos which should help.

Thanks for the info on downsizing my photos. Always learning!

And thanks to all for the boost of confidence. I will continue to post so that I can continue to learn. I would like to eventually do some portature professionally and go from there.
