This is one of the classic lighthouses here in the middle Chesapeake. First shot is cropped plus 1 sharpening. Second has a couple more tweaks.

What would you do to this shot?

Pax....
That is a good shot of the light....I am a lighthouse fanatic and any shot of one is great...I really like the gulls sitting on the railing...
Since you asked for suggestions, here are a couple...
1...Your horizon is not straight...You can fix that in photoshop....
2...I would have liked the sky blue and not the washed out "summer" hazy look...
If you get the chance to take the shot again, see if you can find a polorizing filter...
This will help with the blah looking sky and make the whole picture much better...
But, its still a great shot...

Pax I like the shot, but imo it's a bit a light.

Just darkened the sky/sea a bit, duplicated the lighthouse on another layer and set the merge mode to hard light 50%, what gives the pict. below.
