I really like this shot, is there anything I can do to improve on it?

Good shot, but I think it would be a much better picture if the bird was facing towards you. Other than that, nice depth of field, sharpnessm etc.

I also like this shot. Agree with HughesInNC. I wonder if a crop would help, focusing more on the bird, andfewer branches.

I've played around with this shot numerous times trying various crops and I couldntcome up with a crop that was satisfactory to me (inexperience possibly)...If you like have at it.

And yes it would have been nice for the bird to be facing me....(opportunity)...

yeah this is a tough crop, so many options. . .how about trying a gaussian blur on everything but the bird? For isolation purposes. . .otherwise a nice photo.

Frankly, I like your shot! If I were to crop it, I might try something like the attached.

And that is just about exactly the crop I had come up with that was somewhat acceptable to me. Thank you for posting it, it makes me feel like I am more on the right track of things here, much appreciated!
