Hi everyone,

I just picked up my first DSLR, a Pentax K100D with the kit lens and a Pentax 50-200mm zoom. I have always liked outdoor photograpy and now want to learn all the features available with the new camera. It's been very cloudy and snowy lately and I have been having trouble figuring out WB. Most shots start out underexposed and need PP to kick up the exposure and balance. Here are few recent shots from the last several weeks. Comments appreciated. All pics were done using the 50-200mm lens if I remember correctly.

Squirrel at Grant Park South Milwukee. 1/100, F5.6, ISO200, Ev +.7

Lakeshore at Gant Park. 1/250, F8, ISO200, EV+1

Snow fall at Wehr Nature Center. 1/640, F4, ISO200, Ev+.7

Prickly plant at Wehr Nature Center. 1/200, F8, ISO800, Ev0

Thanks
