Well, I purchased a 500 mm lens and wanted to take some pictures of the night sky, but the weather won't cooperate. I figured I'd give the new Sigma lens I picked up the other day a shot.

We're under wind advisory right now. I went in the back yard and took a few pictures of an eerie looking sky. Part of the limbs are blurry due to the wind. I think it sort of adds to the photo though. C and C are appreciated.

Olympus e300, sigma 18-125, f4.5, 6 seconds, 200 ISO.

By the way, here's the original. Just white balanced and noise removed.

hi mate

your first shot is excellent. your pp work on this shot matches wonderfully. The deep tones and heavy contrast all compliment the shot and it all works very well.

nice job
