Im trying my hands a portraits, cant say I have taking a lot of them. So any comments are welcomed.


E300 OM-135mm Prime with a 2x converter

I think there are several good aspects of the portrait: you avoided reflections in glasses, both eyes are sharp enough, the facial lighting is smooth, and your model is in a contemplative pose.

The couch fabric and the vertical dark portal in the right background is distracting, while cropping from the right makes the photo too tight. If you haven't tried many portraits before then you are probably going to get some great ones with practice.

Hopefully you'll hear from someone really good at portraits--that is not me.
