Beskärningen, oh sorry, the cropping is excellent (and thereby of course the composition)

Just for fun I flipped it

Heh, looks awkward

By the way, didn't crop this photo much at all, just a tiny bit.

Yes, your framing is very good (himla bra) exactly the way it is :-)

i really like this shot

i think the comp is great. gets a bit boring with full body ducks. seems like its peering into the frame.

wen i have shot ducks (with my camera) i have always been in 2 minds about the ducks in teh backing. do they add value, or are they a distraction. and this shot is no exception to that i think.

i cloned out the duck to get an idea of what it would look like. i think i like it more.....

as mentioned, its a nice sharp shot and the overall tone to the shot is great. it has this icey feel to it yet the image has a warm glow. quite unique i think. And ducks are always funny characters to shoot and i think this is why i like this crop so much.

i think it adds character to the subject.

here is the cloned version below. hope you dont mind. and personally i like the duck on the right. .....

nice work

Thanks for the feedback
Yeah, might have been better without the background duck, I dont know.
Anyway it wasn't really an option to get rid of it some way without scaring the main subject too....
