The following were taken using an afocal method with a Kodak V603 digital camera and a Meade 60mm refractor. Afocal is basiclly holding up the camera to the telescope's eyepiece. Images were adjusted in Photoshop.

Matthew it looks like you have been having fun!! I'm impressed at your patience I would not be able to do this.

What sort of image size were you getting for these after stitching?

My fave is Feb 21 #4.

Actually, I think the oval shape is a result of taking all the pictures over a significant period of time. You wouldn't have noticed the distortion in the individual shots, but when you pieced them all together it became apparent.

Well, that could be. When I was taking the photos the view on the webcam software looked very wavey. each stitch has between 40-80 photos in it.
