Found myself playing hookie from work the other day... Had an enjoyable time doing this kind of thing... The weather was great and the sky was overcast. Let me know your thoughts.

completely loving this shot, Joeybob. The colours, which would normally be kind of drab by themselves, work so well together. Amazing job.

Try making the parts of the pic away from the waterfall a bit darker, focusing your attention on the waterfall. To do that would be trial and error.

Those boulders tell a lot about the water flow in that the stream. You might consider a color/white balance correction to the water, or at least on my monitor it has a slight greenish yellow cast. I'm enjoying the scene!

Thank you all for the consideration and replies. Wass I'm posting another. Perhaps the lighting is better in this shot? Jdar the white balance and the water appear "spot on" to me - at least on my monitor. I did cool this new post down a little...

Those are beautiful. Perhaps a little cropping would help make thewater stand out a bit more, but even with out the cropping they are nice.

joeybob,

the color balance looked spot on, too, when I looked at your photo in LightZone. I was wrong about that, influenced I think by the nice greenery surrounding the water.

The overall contrast and sharpness could be punched up a bit and I did like the way that looked, but that can be easily overdone and the scene is pleasant and natural the way it is.
