i am too... sorry you may get this several times as i am having problems with attaching pictures:?

how can i improve this pic ?

i kind of like this informal capture.

i am not sure what you mean by 'how can i improve this pic'. do you mean that actual photo - post processing or do you plan to try and take it again?

the whites are a blown out and need to get that under control, i dont think you will be able to get any detail back.

i took the picture in colour and although i like the natural look i thought there was something missing...seems a bit dull?? i tried to change it to blk/white with photoshop however i am new to it and went mad with white !! do you think i could improve the original colour version??

Just play around in photoshop until you find an effect you like

And here is a sepia tone achieved with the Melancholytron filter from Flaming Pear. What you find attractive may vary a great deal, but these were simple to do (simple is about all I do.)

Since she is a very cute baby, I will go for soft focus to get the tender feeling. This is my offering, though "bit over done"
