I grew up in Wichita Falls, seen this many times, you have captured it very well... Great shot. BTW, my uncle used to live in Lubbock, nice town

Good timing on the lighting. I would say there is a lot of wasted space at the top of this which is adding nothing to the final photo. If you were to crop just above half way so you have a small amountof cloud that would make a much more pleasing shot.

I agree with Mark. If you take some of the cloud on the top away, but also crop a little bit (just a little) off the right side, you would notice the lightening more. Right now the street light is what draws my attention.

Great capture by the way. I tried numerous times last weekend to get lightening shots and missed every time.

Crop the extra sky, the tree on the right, and the shot will have better focus. It's already pretty flawless, not to mention well-timed!

I think the mass of clouds on top give it an excellent oppressive feeling of a massive storm just about to hit. The clean field of view down the middle is awesome.
