The car is a dark color and you've taken a picture of the side in the shadow. It's a striking image, and if that's what you were after, then it worked. But the shadow is underexposed, so you may have lost some detail, albeit where there isn't a lot of detail to be had.

I like the image of the car and sky. I think a crop would help the overall look ie getting rid of the rubbish bin, oil stain and your mates shadows? A shot taken straight on may have been more dramatic.

Yes, shadow other side please and a nice reflection on the side of the car in the light, perhaps you could super impose another view of the car as a reflection? also reflections on a wheel/nuts close-up would look nice? :|

It's a bra. It keeps road debris from chipping the paint.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I see what you mean about the loss of detail from the shadow, maybe if the light was on the other side it would have looked a bit better. I'm going to havea play around in photoshop and see what i can acheive.
