This started out as a shot of the old Mexican section in San Diego. I used a variety of filters and brushes to create the effect.

Beautiful!

Please could we see a small version of the original image?

Ifyou could offer any clues as to exactly which tools you used, I could surprise the family with something like that from a local scene,and tell them I'd secretly taken up painting while they were all out. My daughter, on a weekend visit, has just spent a long time in the garden, sitting & painting

Here is the original photo. I added the blue sky because the sky that day was a grey color
