Close up have never been my strong point in the pass but with all the great looking close ups shown on these forums, I just have to jump in and give it a (excuse the pun) shot. Found this flower while touring the San Juan Capistrano Mission here in So CA. First tip I can think of that would help is; when bring a tripod on a trip it would help if I remember to take it out of the car after parking.

Nice shot, but it would have been better if the top and bottom of the flowers petals

weren't cropped off..............musket

Thanks, I was wondering ifwould have been better to capture all the leaves and take the little less detail on the center of the flower. No I can't remember why I didn't take both types to shots.:?
