This is one of my latest shots, Taken in a Church. Its an oil filled candle using a yellow filter, no flash and the natural light coming in through the stained glass roof lights.

Straight from the Camera (E-20) only resized to 800 X 600

Your comments please.

Thanks again in advance

Steve

This was a very tricky shot, Keeping my cat still whilst focusing manually with a macro lense. I think I pulled it off though. What do you reckon.

Thanks Again

Sorry lux, I ment the first shot, excellent. The second is quite good too, but you need to focuson the eyes.

Thanks Alex,

The cat (GIZMO) really did not want to be Photographed, I actually had a piece of chicken resting on top of the camera lens which kept him focus'd on me :-)

Thanks again for your comments

Really like the way the candle shot came out, can't think of anything to about that one. The cat (imo) is a little close and should have been tented tostop the reflections in the cats eyes. Of course getting a cat to sit still in a photo tent is easier said than done.

I love that candle shot! The soft light and the table's hard line is a very interesting contrast. IMHO, It's just a simple candle but yet it's interesting and invokes emotion.

I like candle shot much better than cat shot. May be I have an affinity for more breather space
