Neil,

Every photo can have a proper place, and in the right layout this perfect photo can, too, but to see it as a single very oblique image is a bit jarring to my eye. I hope this makes sense.

Reminds me alarmingly of a large long-range and inaccurate artillery piece, which I suspect was not the idea. A striking image, though.

Hey, I'm just trying to be obtuse.:-) What I meant is that the photo's technical qualities are good but the angle, if you mean to display it as a single photo, is disturbing to see. Rather than being dramatic it is jarring, too much, overdone.

But, (and they say always listen to what the person says after "but") if the photo was in a layout where print or other photos filled the space under or around it, it might work out just fine. That make better sense? Just my opinion.
