Whilst visiting Ikea, I saw a big box full of electro-luminescent string, so grabbed two just for the novelty of it.

After spending a few hours building the new bed (the real reason we went) I had a wee nip off whiskey... a few more nips later, I though "hey this stuff might make some interesting photo's" and... well... let me know what you think...

I don't normally do this sort of thing... honest!

Taken with my old Fuji S5600 (S5200 in US) will have to dig out the originals to get the EXIF data if anyone is interested.

Genuinely interesting! What a neat creative process, though you may need to explain how building a bed relates to electro-luminescent string.:!:

Well, we were in Ikea to buy a new bed, and at the checkout they had big boxes of these EL string packs (I think they were 49p/1$) so I grabbed two packs as they might be nice to mess around with or put in my little boy's room. After assembling the bed, I hada sit-down and a few drinks and well... the old gears started turning...

I wouldn't like to have tried to exaplain it if my other half walked in on me sat in the dark while chewingelectrical string.
