This PIC was taken with my Canon PowerShot S5 IS using the Program Mode.

Hi Gary,

A very nice shot. My opinion was it just needed a little tweaking and cropping for My taste. You do have a good picture.

I do like the cropping you did. In the short time I have been posting on a couple of photo forums I have been postingmy PICs "as is" without any cropping orpost-processing sothey are viewed "raw" -- justthe way they were taken without any modifications. There has been only one exception as shown below:

Maybe I should start posting PICS after any cropping and/or post-processing? What do you think? Thanks.

Hi Gary,

First you should size them down to around 5X7and make them 72dpi and save the picture as a MED #7 jpg. Then when you post it on line we can see the whole picture at one time and not have to scroll around to try to see it.

Second you can postthe whole picture and then send it again after you crop and process it. This part of the forum is excellent to get a feedback on how you do your photographs.

Third, I can not say you can't take nice pictures because these are all great. You have a very good eye.

Ronnie

I sized it at 6 X 8 and reduced it to 72 dpi

Thanks for your suggestions, Ronnie. To my eyes, I likethe original PIC of Mount Baker as the colors are more vivid and the details clearer. Ibelieve there are some merits displayinga photo in alarger high-resolution format. Gary
