Rolling around while lying on my back among a crowd of hungry people I shot this in spite of their stares.

Very nice capture, Bynx. I might put a touch more USM to sharpen it a little, but the feather detail, particularly around the tail is very nice, so I wouldn't go overboard with sharpening.

I think its a good shot, but i find it hard to see the detail of the bird since the sky is kinda bright. Just a thought

Thanks Giga. The original post was untouched from the camera. This is post production in Photoshop. And I took your advice Trojan about UnShark Mask. Although I have to admit thats one feature I never got a grasp on yet.

Fix makes it look alot easier to see the subject, nicely done..

EDIT: Not sure but it looks likeyou may have used a bit too much "Radius", can any1 agree?

Thanks Muskat. Your two versions certainly made the bird more crisp. But the problem I have is I like the sky as much as the bird. I want a nice broiling cloud and blue sky as well as a crisp clean white bird. Coming to that balance is the difficulty. I want to keep as much detail as I can on the outlne particularly around the tail feathers. I honestly havent spent any time in Photoshop with this pic. But having seen what you did I think I will. Thanks again.
